yay i love my cousins! :D probably cos i've always been the only child, so they were really like older sisters i really envied. haha! i rem playing cute stuff (like building houses with blankets and pillows and clothe pegs :D) with mongz when we were little, then i rem being very sad when everyone started growing up. ): hahah she would dao me when i asked her to play O: time flies (: oh you know all our baby photos look really really alike! esp li neng's and mine O: mongz is really clever, im hoping she'll become someone successful and famous then she can buy me a house or smth :D and im secretly wishing li neng will quickly get married haha! being a human is an amazing thing, yet sometimes it's really difficult. and life seems to be an irony. i think irony is a funny thing, it's so ironic, yet so ironic. ah shucks what am i talking about.
it's hard to like someone you really dislike.
Lord, please help me to be like you, to be able to accept others' flaws, like how you never once despised us to Your children; help me remember the story of throwing darts at our enemies; help us remember that we should never think too highly of ourselves, as we are all enshadowed by Your pure, bright light; how humbly You came to this world, to serve and go through so much more pain and trials, than what Man can ever conquer; you suffered, because of Man.

anyway (: i think im quite serious about becoming a missionary (: okay i really dont know. considering that i dont even want to go for a four weeks china trip, it's quite ._. i still want to be a teacher, though! :D hahaha, i was telling mom perhaps i should just quit school and do something more meaningful with my life. i dont mind homeschooling, actually! i think it'll be enjoyable (: bindi irwin (steve irwin's little girl) does homeschooling! was reading readers' digest, it's great to have a goal in life :D much less finding and striving towards it from young. for bindi, it's saving the environment and animals, just like her daddy (:
talking about saving the environment, i wish people would just stop being complacent and take things for granted. we take and throw as how we please, but dont you ever stop to think of consequences and others? crumple a piece and poof, it flies into the bin. simple things like, perhaps having a paper bag to put old, random papers (like the primary school foolscap paper i found) and send it for recycling.. if everyone tries to do just that tiny bit. not even alot, but just a little bit.. it'll mean alot. and somehow i was really feeling very ): when i saw pictures of starving children in Africa.. the truth hit me like, BOOM.
i wish i could make a difference. help me God! (: even if it means saving just one starfish :D (have you heard the boy and the starfish story before? :D)
gah, spent an hour here alr, and the LA ppt is stagnant (sorry yanquan) on a lighter note, i'll be taking piano again, but mainly for serving in church (hopefully :)) and CIP for NYAA starts this saturday, great to be able to exercise and help others at the same time. thank God! life will be getting more hectic nonetheless, but i hope i'll be able to keep walking/crawling and not die somewhere along the way. (:
