上学的第一天

A post for memento.

First day at school today was kinda weird. 8)

Absolutely couldn't get to sleep yesterday T_T
Flipped and turned and got bitten by mosquitoes, went out to sleep on the sofa outside at 2:30 am, continued flipping... and then the alarm clock rang.

The day started off with some hollering, 'cos everyone was er too noisy. It was a strange sight to see all the old NY girls still don our white (okay make that grey) uniform and sit in a new Auditorium; it was almost a reunion of sorts, people gathering in our old classes, there was excited squealing, hugging, laughter, chattering...

Oh and many people have new hair! Coloured ones, severe bangs (Chinwen...), short hair, long hair, black hair (Kakay...).. It was all quite cool. Ground rules were laid out, hairstyles and attire need to be checked by Wednesday. I feel really small walking around the campus in the NY uniform - -"

Thank goodness the first thing was English Diagnostic, not Math. It was quite T_________T at first, but it felt good to write again, actually! The silence of the 900-strong crowd when everyone was engaged in the test was... silent. It was really very quiet O:

"Does the book still have a future?" The question was quite cool man!

Recess was spent mostly with Choo- shared another meal with her, after Macdonalds hotcakes in the morning. The canteen looks a bit drab, but I think two years should be okay (: It was nice seeing Uncle Roger's familiar face at the stall! Haven't explored the fishtank yet, will do so when I've got more moolah $$

Math lecture followed; I was feeling clever in the first 5 minutes (: And then by the fifth minute, I was lost. Pace of lecture's really quite fast, will need to work on listening + looking + writing + absorbing faster. I cannot multi-task in lessons for nuts. T_T Brain processes: 1) Stare at screen/board for 5 seconds, 2) Open ears to listen to what teacher's talking about, 3) Go back to staring and try to piece the Audio to the Visual, 4) Start taking down the notes... And then the world moves on to the next slide. SIGH. Helps if someone clever/fast sits beside you, though. I... will need to find someone other than Huier hahahaha (:

The school hours for this week are O: HAHAHA but cool man! School started at 8:15am, and ended at 12pm. There's no school on Wednesday, and on Friday, we start at 1pm and end at 5:30pm.

Is this post becoming very lame T_T

Anyways, just went to the Hwach website to navigate around... and then to the SEAB site. Read through the A level syllabus. And... roley moley. Roley moley, man.

Hahahaha okay and that has been about it. Off to attempt Math. Am looking forward to Day 2 (:
